When partipating in the SETI Simulation your goals are:

• Learn as much as possible from the simulated extra-terrestrial intelligence.
• Determine the intent of the simulated extra-terrestrial intelligent being.
• Determine the technological sophistication of the simulated extra-terrestrial being.
• Avoid negative consequences to the earth.

Keep in mind the following:

• All messages will be sent and received in binary.
• The simulation includes distances delays, although they will be several order of magnitudes shorter than today's reality.
